Getting started

Install the terminal, sign in, activate a licence and open your first chart.

Install

Download the build for your system from the Downloads page. The download is free and needs no account.

After the first install the terminal updates itself. It checks the signature of an update before it downloads it.

Sign in and activate

  1. 01Open the terminal. It opens on the activation screen before anything else.
  2. 02Sign in with your Google account. A licence belongs to an account, so this comes first.
  3. 03Paste the activation code from your email and confirm. The terminal opens.

A code attaches to whichever account uses it first, which is what lets a licence be a gift. Once it is used, it is used.

Your first chart

The picker at the top of a chart lists the instruments the service captures, grouped by asset. Under each asset are the exchanges that have it, and All venues, which is the merged tape of all of them.

Beside it is the bar picker: the interval, or another way of building bars. Scroll to zoom, drag to move through time, and press V for the crosshair.

Where things are

  • The rail on the left: Workspace, to reopen a closed window or add a chart, and Settings.
  • The quick bar on the chart: one chip per layer, to switch it on and off.
  • The Trade Panel, the Depth Ladder and the Gamma Ladder: panels beside the chart.
  • Alerts, Participants, Scanner and History: windows of their own.

Your layout follows you

Layouts, charts, templates and window positions are saved and synced to your account, so a second machine opens where the first left off. They stay reachable without a licence: your saved work is yours.
