Indicators

Open the Indicators window to add one. An indicator is drawn either on the price chart or in a panel of its own, with its own scale on the shared time axis.

SupertrendST
A trailing stop an Average True Range from price that only tightens, and flips sides on a close through it.On the chart
AroonAROON
How recently the window's highest high and lowest low happened -- time since the last extreme, not distance.Own panel
Vortex IndicatorVI
How much of the window's range was spent reaching up against reaching down, as two comparable ratios.Own panel
Regression ChannelLRC
A least-squares line through the last N closes, with bands as far out as price has been straying from it.On the chart
Chandelier ExitCE
A stop hung an Average True Range below the window's highest high, and another above its lowest low.On the chart
Weighted Moving AverageWMA
Weighted by age down to zero, so a bar past the window has no influence at all.On the chart
Volume-Weighted Moving AverageVWMA
Weighted by what traded on each bar rather than by how old it is.On the chart
Hull Moving AverageHMA
Smooth and barely lagging at once, at the cost of overshooting a sharp turn.On the chart

Momentum12

Relative Strength IndexRSI
Momentum oscillator, 0-100, with 30/70 reference lines.Own panel
MACDMACD
Fast/slow EMA convergence, with its own signal line.Own panel

Percent change from N bars ago.Own panel
Stochastic OscillatorSTOCH

Money Flow IndexMFI
RSI's shape with each bar weighted by what traded on it.Own panel
Ultimate OscillatorUO
Buying pressure over a short, a medium and a long window at once, weighted toward the short.Own panel
Commodity Channel IndexCCI

Awesome OscillatorAO
A fast average of each bar's midpoint against a slow one.Own panel
Fisher TransformFISH

Order flow11

Cumulative Volume DeltaCVD
Running total of aggressive buy minus sell volume.Own panel
Tape SpeedSPD
How fast the tape is printing: trades per second in each bar.Own panel
Spot vs Perp CVDS/P
Spot flow against perp flow, in base units -- the two are never summed, because a single figure would hide the divergence.Own panel
Effort vs ResultEvR

Flow ToxicityVPIN
How one-sided trade arrives, measured over equal volume rather than equal time.Own panel
Signed EffortSEF
How much net one-way pressure it took to move a tick. High is a book that absorbed it.Own panel
Spot vs Perp LeadLEAD
Which tape moves first. Perp leading is leverage; spot leading is demand.Own panel
Bar DeltaDELTA
Each candle's own net aggression, not the running total of it.Own panel
Delta Z-ScoreDELTAZ
Each candle's delta in units of this market's own recent spread, so a threshold means the same everywhere.Own panel
Average Trade SizeAVGSZ
What traded in each candle over how many prints it took.Own panel
Net AbsorptionNABS
How much of the recent run was aggression that failed to move price, and which side it failed for.Own panel

Positioning8

Open InterestOI
Contracts outstanding. Rising price on falling open interest is closing, not buying.Own panel
FundingFND
The rate that will be charged at the next settlement, as the venue's own running estimate.Own panel
BasisBAS
The perpetual against the venue's own spot index -- what funding is charging for.Own panel
Position FlowPF
Whether the bar's aggression opened positions or closed them. A rally on falling open interest is shorts leaving.Own panel
Forced ShareFRC
What fraction of the volume was liquidations. A move that is mostly forced stops when the margin does.Own panel
Open Interest ChangeOIΔ
How fast positions are being opened or closed, rather than how many are held.Own panel
Funding CarryCARRY
What holding the position across this window has cost or paid, added up.Own panel
Liquidation SkewLIQSKEW

Cost to MoveCTM
How much resting size price would have to eat to travel a tenth, a half and a whole percent.Own panel

SpreadSPR
The gap at the touch, in basis points. It widens before anything else moves.Own panel
Book DepthDEPTH
How much size is resting within one percent of the touch, both sides together.Own panel
Microprice TiltMICRO
How far the size-weighted touch sits from the midpoint, in basis points.Own panel

A panel is a separate region under the chart. These are the readings that can have one:

  • OI Change
  • Carry
  • Liquidation Skew

Some panels need data that not every instrument has: spot-versus-perp readings need the spot market to be captured, and positioning readings need open interest and funding. A panel without its data is switched off with the reason.
